Home About Us Reservations How to Find Us Contact Bryce'swelcome to Bryce's News Letter. One is hesitant to suggest it------but--------are we beginning to see light at the end of the tunnel?? After a long dark winter of bad news and horrible weather, I write this when the sun is shining, the temperature 17c and the green shoots of recovery are promised from our financial masters. Let’s hope so!! We continue to be busy here at Bryce’s and excited at these next couple of weeks when winter fish finish and the gems of Spring submit themselves to the nets. The Plaice and Dover Soles have shot their roes and are coming in plump and juicy. The fabulous Gurnard and big Huss return, together with John Dory, Monkfish and Ling. The fabulously healthy oily fish of Herring, Mackerel and Sardines will be plentiful and we can’t wait to think up new ways of offering them on a plate. However, for me, plainly grilled with lemon butter and crusty bread, washed down with a crisp, light, glass of chilled wine, is just perfect. Don’t ever hesitate to call 24 hours in advance (01306 627430) to ensure we can get you something special, such as lobster, dover sole or fresh crab or langoustines. We don’t always buy these due to price fluctuations but can easily obtain them. Sunday 18th March MOTHERING SUNDAY You don’t need a special day to spoil Mum but we can offer a great lunch or dinner from a super menu on this annual day. 3 courses plus coffee and petit fours. Just £35.00 per person Sunday 8th April EASTER SUNDAY Book early for lunch or dinner, we’ll have a superb selection of fresh fish and seafood to feast on from our usual menu Release date: 7th March 2012.
