Red wines

Bin 35. McGuigan's, "The Black Label", Merlot 2003
Rich, soft with velvety plum fruit flavours from Australia. An easy to drink red
wine and new to our list.
£14.95

Bin 36. McGuigan's, "Lennard's Crossing" Shiraz 2003
A warm, peppery, spicy wine showing careful oak maturation makes for a full
flavoured rich red wine to suit our dark meat and cheese dishes.
£17.50

Bin 37. Klippenkop, Cinsaut-Shiraz 2004
South Africa always produces excellent value for money wines and this is no
exception. Soft and spicy on the palate.
£14.50

Bin 38. Côtes du Rhône 2004 A.C. D.B.
A rich, spicy, full bodied wine, ideal with our darker meat dishes. Bernard Latour
certainly knows how to make an excellent traditional wine.
£18.50

Bin 39. Brown Brothers, Tarrango 2004
Similar to a French "Cru" Beaujolais in style with light cherry fruit flavours and
may be served chilled if desired. From the Melbourne wine region of Australia.
£18.50

Bin 40. Ochoa, Tempranillo 2002 D.O.
Made from 100% Tempranillo grapes grown within the Navarra district of
northern Spain. Similar in style to a Rioja, but with soft vanilla flavours.
£19.95

Bin 41. St. Hallett, "Gamekeeper's Reserve" 2003
We have always followed this producer. Made from a blend of Shiraz, Grenache,
Mouverdre and Touriga grapes and produced in the Barossa Valley, north of Adelaide.
£17.95

Bin 42. Châteauneuf-Du-Pape, "Les Olivets" 2002 A.C. D.B.
This classic, favourite wine is made from a blend of up to 13 different grape
varieties. We think this is probably the most understated area of France.
£25.95
